Bidrage med feedbackHave a favorite place they absolutely love, regardless of the reviews and reviews of people? to me, bao shi yi ðŸ ̃‰ is such a valuable place I love each time more. bao means bun and shi yi, eleven, can you guess the story behind the name? on Saturday morning, after the crash of the father-in-law for his acupuncture session, we want to take a break and have a Chinese breakfast in bao shi yi. the place is always lively with Chinese males at the weekend tomorrow. the place is small but bright and charming. I always order her bio soy milk 机 because it is the best in the city for me, a welcoming drink to start the meal right. they offer tofu pudding in three options, salty, sweet, and mala spicy 麻 specific辣. the sweet tofu flower is so silky and delicate that it almost slips off from my back. it is so pleasant and funny to have the almost weightless pudding dralls in my mouth before it slides smoothly down. the sweet is at the sweet place for Asian sensitivity. another multiannual favorite of us is porridge with reserved ice and lean meat ・肉, which is a recommended home-specificity. it is the ultimate comfort food, with complex aromatized ice and savory lean pork slices, in a container of hot porridge that makes our teemies warm and happy. the most satisfying to accompany the two items mentioned above is Chinese donut 条≠. the Chinese label means that eggs are incorporated into their teig, which explains why it smells and tastes so much better. youtiao literally translates as oily sticks, it is crispy on the outside and chew inside, and makes my mouth greasy in it, but the oil that it uses to freeze it is clean tasting, so fitting its names and perfectly executed through the restaurant. her youtiao is my favorite place in town, no other places have woken me so much. I would never expect to find the best Cantonese style juicy cha siu buns 叉‡‡‡‡‡ here in a mostly mainland style Chinese restaurant, but they beat other dim sum places in the city for me. the skin has the correct dense and flockiness when it is served hot, filled with juicy cha siu bites in the inner. when I bite into this kindness of favorite bun from me, I can taste sweet and savory, delivered in a white spongey bun that is like the heaven in my mouth. her style of food is not for all, but for me, it does not play any role, I love bao shi yi. it is comforting, taste and home. you eat gives me a feeling of familiarity and constriction that is unbeatable. I'm looking forward to my next visit. has anyone found out the answer to the meaning of their name? I am also open to suggestions where I can find similar breakfast places. please let us know if they have a favorite.
I tried the brown sugar milk tea here and it was nothing like the one from Bao Shi Yi in Chinatown, tasteless. I wonder if they are the same franchises. Very disappointing. Plus, this location doesn’t have the rice noodle that’s offered at Chinatown location. Will definitely not visit this location.
Traditional Chinese pancake is really delicious. Also, the braised beef noodle is nice if you can endure moderate spicy flavor.
Really good food. I thought it was a bit expensive, but seemed to be a good value. The dumplings were the hit for me. I had Leek, Onion and Shrimp dumplings. The other really big hit was the porridge. It was millet and perhaps pumpkin or squash and had a sort of sweet corn flavor. Everything was great.
My friend and I Went here for the first time today, absolutely amazing. It was her first time trying anything like this and she loved it. Everything was SPOT ON. if I HAD to make a suggestion it would be a little more meat in the bun for a better bun to meat ratio but that’s just me wanting more meat lol.
