Local Gerai Malaysian Restaurant

We have dined at Local Gerai a number of times and always had a great meal supported by excellent service. Serving sizes are large and the food is always fresh

The food at this restaurant is incredible, I could definitely eat here every day. The staff is friendly and always polite, and the premises are clean. The dishes are unbelievably delicious. If you're not a fan of spicy food, make sure to ask for no chili.

Had dinner with my wife mid week. Never tried Local Gerai before and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very small and intimate restaurant along the main cafe strip of Caroline Springs. We shared a Pad Thai for entree then had a curry with roti each. The roti was so flakey and delicious, and would go back for that alone. The service was perfect, the ambiance inviting and the food came out hot and timely. Overall i could recommend the place for either family dinners or something more intimate for couples.

A small restaurant at Caroline Springs just up the road from Quest where I was staying. I had arrived late and was hungry and because I was in a serviced apartment there was no food and not much open, only a few places. I'm Malaysian so I thought I'd try the local cuisine! Has a satay chicken with rice take away. Was really tasty, filled the gap and they gave me lots too. Most places fill up the box with veges and only a little meat but this place was pretty generous. Thanks Gerai!

We had a wonderful family dinner with 9 people last night. We ordered two different banquet options as well as some items from the menu. The food was all delicious and the service was excellent. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just like our last visit, we had so much food that we had to take some leftovers home. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
