Del Rio - HIGHWOOD

We just love dining on the patio, especially on a beautiful mid September evening. Inside was crowded with live music. The patio was quiet, except for the trains passing by across the street. The food was excellent as always two orders of Salmon and one Eggplant Parmesan. Given the crowd inside, service was a bit slower than normal, but we were certainly not rushed with things so quiet on the patio.

First time at this restaurant, but will definitely be back. Food was excellent, service was attentive, and overall atmosphere outstanding. Similar to the feel of a Wisconsin supper club on the inside, but with a solidly Italian menu. Great place

We sat on the patio on a Friday night. Our server was Pat who we found caring, humorous and warm. We had drinks, the charcuterie, Veal Del Rio and tortelacci. All were incredible. The food, staff and ambiance evoke thoughtful old world charm. So very worth a stop in to share a good meal with friends and family.

We enjoyed an early dinner before Ravinia. Delicious Bronzino and homemade pasta, warm and welcoming owners and staff, charming old-fashioned ambiance (authentic! Complimentary valet, really attentive waitstaff. We will love to return.
