Salt Creek Tacos - Highland Park

I had the best food! We're coming weekly. The dishes and drinks are great. Server knows our order. I ordered the chicken shell with the firey pig sauce and it was amazing if you like spicy. Heaven on earth!

Saturday night with the woman. Had “The Gringo” for our drinks that were good. Must try some of the other options next time. We had the Hopi Masi as an appetizer that was really good. And then everyone had three tacos. I had two steaks and one chicken and the woman had two carrots and one cod. All were good! Service was solid. The girl who was our waitress was looking at things and always looking at us. The menu was simple and the food is quite authentic....very similar to things you get from a roadcar in Mexico. Will be back.

The restaurant offers an outstanding selection of delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the cod with corn and mushroom sauces, typically served with spiced meat or mushrooms, onions, and cilantro. My friend ordered the enchiladas, which were also excellent. Given the portion sizes and quality, it’s truly an exceptional value, all set in a lovely casual atmosphere. The service was attentive and efficient. Overall, everything was just right. I expected high quality, but the prices were a delightful surprise.

I ordered the fiery pig, steak tacos, and ceviche, and thoroughly enjoyed everything! The habanero salsa that accompanied the fiery pig was incredibly flavorful and had just the right level of spiciness. The tortilla chips served with the ceviche were also excellent—crispy and fresh. The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful, featuring a clean and modern vibe. Plus, I loved the creative use of empty tequila bottles as water containers—a nice touch! I can't wait to return!

My first visit here was absolutely delightful! The loaded guacamole was perfect—smooth and creamy. The barbacoa tacos were the best I've ever had, bursting with flavor. The grilled chicken tacos were also moist and flavorful. I had such a great time and can't wait to come back!
