La Casa De Isaac - Highland Park

Tremendous menu variety, exceptional preparations, and very friendly and attentive service. Loved it all!!!

Always brilliant! the quality of the ingredients and taste of the food are absolutely acute! I would choose this restaurant at any time for a wonderful meal with fantastic drinks and perfect service!

We frequent the Highland Park location and thought we would try the Highwood location as it was easy to get a Father’s Day brunch reservation through Open Table. While the ambiance is great breakfast is not their forte.

Reserved for Father's Day and very disappointed including: There was only one table occupied when we walked in and no one came to table to get our order until after the rest of the restaurant filled up and they took everyone else's order before ours. And even the people who ordered after we finally got to order were served food before us. Better yet, I tried to order the apple cinammon filled blintzes and was told that they did not have any prepared; but not 5 mintes later, the table behind me requested the apple cinamon filling and not only did they get what they wanted; they were served before us. We honestly felt that the staff discriminated against us based on our looks. In addition, everything was sticky including the table cloth and menus; and appetizer plate still had dried food caked to it. This review is from somebody who had several great dining experiences here years ago for dinner. I guess this restaurant's true colors show when you dine here in daylight. I do not recommend this location due to disciminatory service and lack of cleanliness. Nothing will ever make us come back, which is a shame, because we just relocated to this area and were so excited that we would be so close to Casa De Isaac. We look forward to checking out all the new and superior restaurants in the area.
