Bidrage med feedbackThe Vietnamese coffee I had was flavorless. The condensed milk was supposed to create a perfect sweet blend, better than sugar in black coffee, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case at Pho New. For nearly $8, I received a small amount of coffee in a large ice cup, and it tasted watered down. This is easily the worst Vietnamese coffee I've ever tried. I wouldn’t consider returning to sample their food, as if they can't even make a basic drink well, I doubt their food would be worth my time.
The pho broth was extremely salty, making it hard for me to finish my bowl. However, the noodles and chicken were quite good. My fiancé ordered a rice platter and found it to be unimpressive. While it wasn't the best dining experience we've had, it wasn't the worst either. We felt the prices were reasonable.
It was just okay. The pho had a strange taste that wasn't to my liking. The fried spring rolls were quite greasy and lacked flavor. There are definitely better restaurants in the area worth visiting.
For those of you who love spicy food, PLEASE try their spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue)!!! It?s so far the best I?ve had in DMV. I?ve tried so many other places including Eden Center, but nothing close to the one here. It?s just amazing! Another perk is that it?s usually not too busy during weekend and weekday nights so you got to keep a social distance from other customers. I wish I live close so I can come weekly????
I got pho for carryout and it's delicious! I didn't wait long for it to be prepared and all the toppings and broth came packaged securely. Tastes delicious and everything is fresh. I would recommend.
