Ratee Thai - Henrico

Ratee is my top choice for Thai takeout. The prices are quite reasonable, the food consistently tastes great, and the service is exceptional. Interestingly, the restaurant is often empty (which I actually like), but I'm baffled as to why, considering the quality of the food I've had there. I highly recommend giving this place a try; I'm confident you’ll be pleasantly surprised! ;) Food rating: 4/5.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and the food has always been excellent. My girlfriend and I both agree that Ratee is the best Thai restaurant in the west end. I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5

I ordered takeout and got two Pad Thais—one with chicken and the other with shrimp—along with fried rice with pineapple. Everything was delicious and there was more than enough food. In fact, we enjoyed it for dinner on two consecutive evenings!

Food was delicious and done within a decent timeframe about 15 mins) The sticky rice could’ve been better but still good. The lady at the front was very sweet ! I was shocked at the price for the amount of food, I expected it to cost way more. I will be returning !

I don’t think many people know about the place, so there has been no wait to be seated every time I’ve gone.4. Customer service is unmatched. The woman at the front desk is so sweet. Personable, funny, kind, and on top of it. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time not once was my glass of water empty bc she was good at checking in with us. Back before I had ever eaten there, I was in the plaza at a different store and needed to use the restroom; the store I was at didn’t have one available to the public; and I ran in here and she made a joke and let me use the one there.The only downfall I would say (if you would even call it that) is that it is very quiet in there; partially because it was empty except for us when I went and partially because there isn’t any music or anything playing.
