Virginia Bbq - Henrico

Today was my first time and not my last...I order The Sampler half rack ribs, I got the VA BBQ, two sides was Cole slaw, collard greens, and sweet and sassy sauce...The rack of ribs and collard greens are for dinner and I've already ate the BBQ, Cole slaw with the sweet and sassy sauce and it was DELICIOUS and I pray that the ribs and greens will also...The atmosphere and the three young men who was working behind the counter was very pleasant...Thank You guys for your hard work and always be safe in your travels home and about...Peace and Blessings

Happened upon this little gem as we searched for a BBQ place near a shop we visited (thanks, TA! . Arrived about 11:30, good timing as the regulars then began pouring in! Nice loyal customer in line before us said get the Monday special a deal, sandwich, side and drink for about $7. Both had pork, one with VA style sauce and one with NC style, but so lightly sauced we couldn’t tell much difference until we added more sauce several types to choose from including SC mustard style, my fave. Generous serving of pork on the buns. Very nice coleslaw, collards pretty good and even the green beans (which were canned but delicious, we were told were good enough to order again. Unsweetened ice tea was fresh brewed, service friendly yet efficient. We’ll be repeat customers every time we return to Richmond!
