Franny's Fried Chicken - HARDEEVILLE

My husband and I were on our way to Florida and decided to stop for the night in Hardeeville, SC. Craving some barbecue for dinner, we found a newspaper in our room that listed nearby restaurants, and we chose Gwen Fanny's. What a delightful experience! We both ordered the fried chicken, which came with baked beans and green beans, and we couldn't resist trying the peach kicker for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and very friendly, and we received our takeout meals with hardly any wait. While waiting, we struck up conversations with other patrons in the restaurant, which added to the positive atmosphere. The restaurant itself is small, clean, and welcoming, and the food was simply amazing! A big thank you to Gwen Fanny's!

The most delicious chicken you can find! We make a special trip just to enjoy their meals, which are freshly cooked while you wait. Absolutely delightful!

I can't help but wonder why there is no Wi-Fi, no outdoor seating, no alcohol available, and no option to make reservations.
