Baobab Lounge - Harbor Creek

The Baobab is located in the JW Marriott and it is a must see. The bar area's decor is fabulous AND you go through a free museum to get to it. Very, very cool. The drinks were great and the beet hummus appetizer was also fantastic. Our barkeep even complimented us on finishing the vegetables that came with the hummus. #marriott #savannah #booze #museums #free

Fantastic atmosphere! Great decor, interesting cocktail selection. I'd recommend staying away from the coffee-smoked-old-fashion (forgot the name): in theory sounds great, in reality not so much. The tamarino-gyn though was excellent! Up-down, y'all!

This is an amazing South African themed restaurant. Had great service and as we as ex-pat South Africans both our server, the chef and the bartender could not have been more gracious. We loved all the paintings and were blown away by the animal heads on the walls as well as the careful use of the horns to create different decorative pieces were wonderful. The whole venue was superb and I cannot wait for my next visit

Amazing African setting! Very scenic ! Biltong was fantastic, it was the first time I 've had it but not the last. Cheese board was well stocked and delicious. Service was great and set in the J W Marriott made for more exploration after dinner. Highly recommend! Unfortunately my wife took all the pics so I have only one to post. But a couple of pics from the Marriott as well.

Located in the Marriott, right on the river it's a a cool place for a snack cocktail. The spicy biltong with pickled veggies was delicious. Like soft beef jerky with a mild spicy kick. All the taxidermy on display is a bit much, but the African theme is a nice break from the typical riverfront themed bars.
