Great little spot up in the mountains above Nundle NSW

Lovely display of local farming and experience in the business. A great way to experience the outdoors and nature, and learn about the process of developing Rainbow Trout. The tasting platter was amazing, so good we bought fish to take home for lunch. Yum yum.

The gentleman there was really friendly and accommodating. Beautiful scenery.

This is a trout farm that offers farm tours and has a cafe that currently opens on Sundays and takes lunch bookings. Must check website and make bookings. We had their Warm Smoked Whole Trout with Salad. First time ever for us to eat a trout this way and it was absolutely delicious. The farm is accessible with 2WD in dry weather via about 6km gravel dirt roads. I would probably feel more comfortable with a 4WD or at least an SUV (and not a low sports car in my case). It is about 1h15min drive from Tamworth so make sure you leave plenty of driving time. Definitely worth a visit. Really tasty trout farmed with spring water.

Really yummy trout and stunning surroundings. Was disappointed that the advertised trout catching was not operating. Cafe seemed nice if a little pricey.
