Westleigh Chinese Restaurant - Beecroft

Found it over rated & very over priced for what they presented.If the menu bbq pork you expect more pork & not saturated & camouflauged with veges

We recently visited Westleigh Chinese for a quick visit with friends. Since the revamp of the centre where it is located the overall presentation of the restaurant has improved. I understand it has relatively new owners and I have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised at the service and the quality of the food. Despite it being late on a Tuesday evening and being the only ones there, the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Both my wife and I felt that they may have been a bit heavy handed on the MSG or the salt.

Came back to this restaurant (previous owners were terrible) to try it out after hearing great reviews from friends with the new management, and i must say extremely happy with the service and food, we now no longer have to travel out of the area to get good chinese food anymore! Definitely the new family go to chinese restaurant.

I am not one to usually write a review, but i would like to take the time out to talk about the night out i had with my family at Westleigh Chinese. We were hesistant to try the restaurant as the previous owners are extremely horrible, but after having heard many great reviews and many friends recommondation we decided to try it out.Firstly i would like to thank Olivia our waitress for being so fantastic, i have never received such service at any other chinese restaurant, she went beyond and above. The food is just fantastic, the flavours are awesome and the meat very tender and greens very fresh. My family enjoy all the dishes we ordered, (mongolian beef, peking shredded beef, san chow bow, salt and pepper fish) the meat was tender and not tough, and the dishes packed full of flavour. thank you for now being our go to chinese restaurant again!!!! definitely returning and recommending everyone at westleigh!!

The food was probably some of the worst I have tasted. Bland and very ordinary. I didn't think that you could get egg fried rice to taste so bad. The Mongolian Lamb well I am not sure of the quality of the meat they used but I found it inedible. We ordered a second dish which took over an hour to come. I think they had forgotten and I had to ask if there was more food coming. We will not be back. The only good thing about this place was the lovely waitress. I went home hungry.
