The Bank Brasserie - Hamilton City

Decent food. However bit over priced. Service was great. Food was decent, however not flavorful. Ordered pork belly, no taste to the pork. The mashed potatoes had more flavor. Wouldn't rule out coming back if someone wanted to meet here. However, wouldn't pick it myself. To end with, desert was the one strong point.

As a tourist from america, i had the time of my life staying in new zealand. I went out for drinks every weekend, and the place i had the most fun at was the bank. Their drinks are prices pretty good, the bartenders kept serving me drink after drink without being judgemental its a really cool place because it apparantly used to be an old bank back in the day. They also give out free platters of food off facebook. Altogether, if youre looking for a great night out of drinking, go to the bank! It is the most fun place in all of hamilton

Sunday. The place is not full. Plenty of tables available outside. I waited for 20 min for someone serve me. The waitresses looked me and passed by. I'm wondering: if take so long to give me the menu, how long it will take to have my food?! I will never come back!

I can't speak for the food, but the Bank is a great spot to grab a drink on a Saturday night. If the inside bar area is a bit too crowded, there's a nice outside patio area with a decent amount of seating. When the hubby and I were here there was a band playing which started an impromptu dance party. We didn't join in, but it made for a fun night of beers, music and people watching.

I came early on a Sunday night as I was famished. They had a 6$ steak special from 6pm to 9pm. My friend and I arrived at 5pm but the waiter was nice enough to let me order the steak special. It was perfectly cooked and juicy. I definitely recommend the place.
