Nicely tucked away down an alley but opens up out the back to a nice setting with terraces down to the waikato River walkway. Great food. Busy, but the guys and girls there are really friendly and accommodating.

The menu features small dishes designed for sharing. The gnocchi was wonderful and flavorful, and the portion size was just right. The calamari, dubbed "saucy boys," was a 10/10 dish! I really enjoyed the texture and taste of the ribs as well. The only dish that didn't quite impress was the fish, which lacked the bold flavor found in the others. Overall, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was excellent. I would definitely return!

This charming little venue is located at the rear of the Riverview apartment building. The outdoor space is fantastic during the summer, and the indoor area is cozy with heating for the winter months. I sampled the lamb kofta, beef cheek croutons, saucy boys, and sticky chicken—all were delicious. The craft beer selection is decent, though not very extensive.
