It is nice there because it belongs to Hamburg and you can drink beautiful cocktails in some locals!!!
I grew up on St. Pauli and know (knowed) the Reeperbahn like my west pocket. This amusement mile is 1000 meters long and runs from West to East between the Nobistor (Grenze to the former Altona) and Millerntor (Grenze between St. Pauli and Neustadt) It surprises me Schalotte that you are disappointed, where you haven't seen anything from the Reeperbahn that we all know from film and television. Those who call the Reeperbahn and St. Pauli are the tourists who cannot behave and are so full that they are spinning from top to bottom (sorry the following expression). (expressed) There are the drug-dependent young women we call "Bordsteinschwalben or Unterleibsartistinnen". But blame for the fact that they are in the Davidstrasse are the men who come from far away (without women) and promise the fast beautiful number. The reeper track is a barrier zone for the prostited. Whoever drinks a lot has to empty his bubble. In men it is often so that they knock off their water where they go and stand when they are in their head. Duhn is the expression for drunk: have you been sneaked, sneaked and snorted? These were then probably the “candidates” who take the right to settle where they like. Unfortunately, the Senate and its organs do not have the power to send these “individualists” back to where they came from. (Eastern Europe) Before and next to the Pigske, not the tax refugees from Poland live, but the economic refugees who buy their cheap vodka in the Lidl and snore the sensible tourists; often also with violence. (Lidl is no longer available in the meantime) Yes, here are some shops where women can still buy fancy dressing room (sexy underwear), horny shoes or boots up to the step in and even jewelry and weapons. Here you can eat and drink very well: Were you in the gosh?, ....no,you missed something! Gosh no longer exists, was probably not profitable and the client was missing. (Gosch also canceled the sails) Were you in the Lehmitz?,.......no, this is the Hamburger cult pub badly and if you have bad luck, you stick to the vault. Well, there's public viewing between the Davidwache and the former operetta house. This part of the Reeperbahn is called Playground. That's the party. See now on Pentecost Saturday..............., or football World Cup in Russia In the streets of Hamburger Berg there are also pubs with historical background. *Elb lock cellar or golden glove*. These were the locations from which a certain Mr. Honka dragged women and killed them after sexual play. Three pubs can continue to kill lesbians properly, as entry for men without a female accompaniment is prohibited. But if one would remove all these above-mentioned Schmarotzer, who put the Reeperbahn in call, from the mile, the Reeperbahn would be missing something. See your last sentence Scarf: .................... My conclusion is: I don't have to have the Reeperbahn again.... But what I find impossible may be great for someone else and let life be pure.... life and life.......... As an old St. Paulianer I miss the Reeperbahn and at least once in the quarter I go there.
My first time.. At the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. I'm really impressed with the difference. If you look at Hamburg and the great new Elbphilharmonie, then this extreme contrast, the party mile. It was a very amusing evening as a whole, was also on the alcohol, but many nice and funny people met. Definitely a must-see for all those who do not come from Hamburg and surroundings. Thanks to the party guide, we have also met some informative stories.
Some secrets are best kept for themselves, only right when this is “sinful mile”. How often did I think “If Mommy is the gloomy...” and especially here! My first experience dates back to the 1990s. Almost all year round, it naturally moved me out to the wide world and Hamburg does not mean otherwise the “gate to the world”, I had to go, even though the real reason was another! It was Winter and I here for the first time. The approach was cheap, but “murderish”, but I didn’t want to change it. The whole stay was quite chaotic, comparable to the road. I realized that the reality rarely corresponds to the respective cliché. That was in the visits after that, not just my assessment. A “Milieustudie” somehow belongs to the viewing program, even though in the past decades a lot had changed in order from above. Young and inexperienced as I was, it seemed tempting to take a look at it. As the “Applause” wanted, the address to which I wanted was already in this part of Hamburg; and there is nothing to be missed at a theatre visit. My first walks took me far beyond and I discovered that “Plants and Blooming” is not so far away. But so far it has not shown that I could see it, but that is a different subject and I have a little of this. Even if it happened to me for a long time, the former Seilerstraße, as it would be called high German, is almost a km long. Earlier, when I came here in the 90s, I found it unbearable that in the early morning, as well as the rest of the day that rather notorious ladies had offered their services publicly. They were sometimes very intrusive to my mate a few years later. This has changed significantly, according to a regulation that puts it under punishment and forbids it. The historical background is not less exciting. Up to the 19th century, which was so important for the maritime Hamburg trade of Taumacher outside the city border. In the various museums it is possible to understand, but more in the right place. As a young person, one sees a lot with other eyes than decades later. Despite the aforementioned incident, the street and the district of the same name seemed to me somewhat cleaner. Today, so it seemed to me, there is a “Ramschladen” to the next. Since our visit in winter, we remember the described U railway station s. possibly there only with greysen. Among the few places that have appeared positive was the Davidwache, known by div. events, and the playground before: It was our “entry” because we both wanted to see it. My friend was obviously amusing that the notorious Herbertstr. for women outside the oldest industry is a taboo area! Because it's not a point of attraction for me, I didn't care. I would like to ventilate the secret mentioned at the beginning: after a sleepless night at the first time in the youth hostel, I decided to look for accommodation a few months later, which was closable and should have good connection. After endless telephone calls still from the phone booth because we had no connection: I found a hotel on the REEPERBAHN! Too bad it doesn't exist anymore! It already remembered with its outer one the previously mentioned maritime past! The cords, ropes and ropes were very artistically draped on the outer façade, and in the dining room were even more focused on galion figures, old photos with ships etc. This memory is honestly better than what it is now. After consulting my partner, who has been very curious about the Reeperbahn, I would like to award very fair 2 stars, for the reasons I mentioned earlier. That's all we see.
