The Groupon offer All U Can Eat Tapas has lured us here. The very different Yelp reviews have not stopped us, but we were equally disappointed and split up again. I'm trying to keep it short: To the All u we can eat additional classic tapas from the card ordered. These tapas were delicious and as one expects and knows from other Spaniards. The difference to the tapas on the grouping plate is unfortunately very clear. Look at the pictures. Each tapas listed on the offer was dressed on a piece of white bread/ball on the plate. The bread is softened or/and has, for example, large salt crystals on the soil glue other tapas that do not fit together. After the 2nd plate of Caramellpudding the group list is edited. Principle is fine: dinner plate 1 and dinner plate 2; You are asked what and if you want to reorder something from the proven things. We selected a few and decided we were sick. We didn't need the bread. In the sense of AUCE, it serves only the quick-saturator. If you had put good baguette or bread with Alioli, we would have been much happier and would certainly have eaten 1-2 baskets of it. But how badly made usually cold bruschetta, we wouldn't eat these groups again and get rid of them. Service ok, schoolnote 3 The tapas needed really long until they were served and the restaurant had only 2 more tables in our table. And they came and got their food after us. Our guess was that the service was all inclusive. Make the kitchen and it takes so long. Sitting out is very loud because of the street. The furniture out there doesn't look inviting. Some ice salons can make it better. Inside it is nicely quiet and indeed old-fashioned, but pleasant. All in all, I am glad that there are many better Spanish restaurants in Hamburg.
I come here regularly with different friends and with us everything was always great! Yes, the inn comes a little murky over a few days, but that lays down and the mood was always pleasant. The tapas were totally super tasty and absolutely fine from the price-performance ratio! We come back to bring friends and acquaintances and can recommend Don Tapas with good conscience.
Don Tapas is a very cozy Spanish restaurant. I find the atmosphere there very friendly and family. The tapas are extremely tasty and taste like real Spanish home cooking. The house wine is also highly recommended. I can only join my previous speakers. All in all, I can recommend Don Tapas to anyone who likes to eat cheap and delicious tapas, in Spanish atmosphere!
I wanted to go to dinner with my parents, and I thought they didn't have to go far, I'm going to her area. This restaurant was perfectly rated at Google, which could go wrong. Oh, man, big mistake! If I had just read the Yelp review and comments... I could write a page article here, but to save my time and your time, I can summarize it. First of all, this is not so negative: foods that taste on the table are relatively, but for me more in the lower midfield of the Spanish restaurants in Hamburg, but purely objectively edible. The other guests were very nice and it was already. Now to the significantly longer negative list: The decor is really old, not chic or cool old, but simply old, and cheap it smells unpleasant after old fat It was ordered a total of 7 tapas that should be the appetizer, but the main course was dispensed with), after an hour came as the first dish! the pimientos on the table. The dishes were finished only after 80min. Luckily I had eaten very late at noon and had no great hunger, otherwise I would have been gone for a long time. There were a total of 3 other tables, of which two already had their food. The 3rd table came 30min after us and got all tapas partially as we also ordered) served within 30min. It was obviously unpleasant for you, and we also felt that it was very annoying. The lady said it was just one in the kitchen and he was guilty because he exchanged the beans. I still lead over justification, but still don't understand... the ham of Iberico pig the pride of every Spaniard) is definitely not cut directly from the leg. Rather, he looked very suspicious of prefabricated slices from the supermarket. Quality is underground, dry, hard and too salty all signs of finished goods. in the melon with normal) ham, the melon was already a little older, which could be seen in the consistency and coloring during payment, the residual money was obtained without an institution. I have always given tips, even in bad service and food, but still NIE has underlined the rest without saying anything! With the many good Spaniards in Hamburg, it's not a big loss for me, but I'll advise all people to just put a foot in this store!
