China Gourmet - Hagerstown

My sisters and I haven 't eaten all day and we scrambled up enough money to eat food but pizza wouldn 't be enough so We called China Gourmet to order and a women took my delivery and when I told her I would call her back so we can get more money. I called back and a man picked up and told me they could not deliver to my house anymore. And when I asked him why cause they deliver last time he hung up on us. So then we called a second time to explain to him that they delivered many times before he yelled at us no way no way and hung up on us again. And then after he hung up on us he called us back and asked us why do we keep calling when he said no and when we tried to explain to him the situation he still hung up on us in midsentence this is a terrible place and they... Matter fact the man has no respect or any consideration for his customers I wouldn 't even given them 1 star

A very unassuming place, but excellent food. When it comes to judging a Chinese eatery, I always start with the wonton soup. China Gourmet's wonton soup is light and flavorful without being greasy. The wontons are large with savory filling. Try the Egg Foo Young. It's some of the best I've had--no over browning and a skillful mix of ingredients. The brown sauce is smooth and delicious, not simply a thickened mess. Also, very friendly staff. A terrific value for some great food.
