Bidrage med feedbackThe space suffers from harsh lighting, a shortage of comfortable seating options, and an overabundance of high tables. While there was an interesting effort to draw on the Caribbean roots of post-war Notting Hill and its famous carnival, the overall design feels artificial due to some poorly executed details. Specifically, the "fake distress" of much of the furniture gives the impression of cheapness rather than authenticity. It's surprising that with the likely substantial budgets of hotel "brands," they still miss the mark despite good intentions. In the end, this spacious lounge and bar seems like a missed opportunity to attract locals and become a popular hub in Notting Hill. By refining their approach, they could potentially win over both hotel guests and neighborhood residents, transforming it into a must-visit destination. Hopefully, they will make adjustments to avoid leaving the area with a large, uninviting, brightly lit space.
An underground bar which consists 2 areas the first one which is used as a club one and the second one which is used for live shows. We had a blackberry mojito and a pornstar martini(both good but not exceptional). The staff was friendly but a bit inexperienced. I would go again.
We visited on a Thursday evening when they had live jazz playing, and it was fantastic! We savored a tasty cocktail while enjoying the music. I highly recommend this place!
The place looks fine just like any other hidden bar. The wine tasted very funny hard to digest. Empty on a friday night. Forgot to bring the olives. Not the best service. And the worst bouncers i have ever encountered. Not recommended at all!!!
The Jamaican food at this restaurant is excellent, with a small yet well-executed menu. From appetizers to dessert, everything was top-notch. The drinks were also fantastic, and the staff was very friendly.
