Spice Roots An Indian Authenticity

We recently visited Spiceroot for the first time. The service was nice. However, the food taste was not that great. Was more so on the bland side. The most disappointing part was the quantity they served. We ordered a paneer dish, given the price, the quantity was way too less! I've been to several Indian restaurants in Guelph other cities too, but the quantity I got here was definitely way less than what I paid for. Personally, I would not visit here again.

Lousy experience last evening on ordering take out. The meal came rather cold, and approximately 20 minutes late. I contacted the restaurant afterwards with regards to this issue, and the fact that one item that we'd ordered (and had been crossed off of the receipt attached to the bag) was not there. No interest to rectify the situation, and not impressed at all.

Good food and packed very well but didn’t had the required sauces for tandoori’s.

Nice spot with interesting decor, good food and courteous service. They have a nice summer patio as well. We tried a mix of tandoor and hakka dishes and all were well-done.

Excellent food! What they lack in atmosphere and wine selection, they more than make up for in flavour.
