Went to Cherry Blossom a few days ago for all you can eat sushi, it’s always so good. Trick is, order less on each order but do it multiple times so you don’t have to wait so much for the food and it prevents leftovers. Service was fast and efficient, and I was stuffed by the end.Food: 5/5
Food is good- Sashimi could be fresher. My struggle was that as a table of 4 we ordered the number of sashimi we knew we could consume but every order was short/ order of 40 was 20 and the order of 20 was 13. We also ordered rolls that never Ever came to the table! It almost is an insult to the customer!Spoke to a server she made it seem like she was going to the kitchen to check but nothing came back.Spoke to the owner while we were paying and was given this very long and unnecessary lecture on supply/ demand/ freshness cut to order/ other tables ordering which was all irrelevant. As a restaurant you either have an item or you don't or it's limited per table either way it should be clearly communicated at all times. She mentioned how 99% of people know! Know they need to call ahead of time to an all you can eat to confirm the quantity of Sashimi ordered (this was her solution by the way) or even worse place your order 2 hours before arrival! I just looked at her and listened and, in my mind, the whole thing made no sense! I don't know if I will go back! And after many years of going there, reading other people's reviews It seems every sushi place has a story of its own! The style of service is just different, servers are cold, rude... always a story about pieces and charges and charging tip automatically...! It's a shame! Our bill was $215 after tax (had 4 teas) for 4 ppl- by the way we finished everything we had ordered!Do not disrespect your customers, we are the reason you are open and running! Have some manners!
Don’t want to waste my time to write this.But just ridiculous!also just want to say the lady who is “manager “or “owner”is totally rude to the customer! Judged we ate so much and want us to pay more for one plate of sushi we can’t finish because the mango is not fresh! Then keep blame us order too much!And keep yelling at us and also keep us waiting for our bill on purpose because we refuse to pay $10 extra for the gross rolls we can’t even eat! It’s all you can eat! We pay $44 to get what we want ! If you feel or afraid your customers eat too much,you shouldn’t run this type of business! Ridiculous! Whole time,the staff won’t say anything,drop off the food and no contact’ And at the end want me to pay without seeing my receipt,i said no! See the my order receipt and pay! And she said to the front desk guy! Remember us next time we come!Excuse us! We are so regular! But no only you running this business in Guelph! So many other good places we can go! What you want to do to us when we come next time? What a ridiculous and rude service!But thanks for this! Save me tips!Not cheap to eat out! Lol my friend make a good point,spend over $100 without getting a beer! Won’t be back! You’re not just lose me as a regular,but also lots more than this!
I have been going to this sushi restaurant for about 3 years now. This restaurant has the best sushi in Guelph hands down. Recently, for some reason, the staff rushed us out the way. The staff don't appear to be as friendly as they used to be. I'm really debating if I should ever go again. By the way, I'm not sure if other restaurants do this as well, but they always charge us the price, including tip added. I mean, I always tip, but I'm assuming that due to some customers not tipping, maybe they started including the tip on top of the service. So if you end up not liking the service you received, be prepared to pay tip regardless because they include the tip without you wanting to tip so be aware not to double tip.
