Foster's Donuts - Grover Beach

This is the friendliest donut shop around. The person at the counter never tries to push big suggestions based on what you’ve already chosen. He is especially kind to shy younger children, encouraging them to pick their own donut. My wife and I would drive two hours to visit this donut shop during her pregnancy, and we've maintained that habit, still coming here at least once a month for our donut fix.

The gentleman at the counter was incredibly friendly, and I must say that the glazed donuts are outstanding. We ordered a lot, and everyone agreed they were delicious. I personally tried the glazed donut and found it so light and fluffy that it seemed to melt in my mouth! My partner seemed to agree, as he quickly devoured two and shortly afterward mentioned that the first two were so amazing he had to come back for a third!

The donuts here are wonderfully fresh and made throughout the day, so you don’t have to rush in first thing in the morning, which is a real plus. The customer service is exceptional, making my visits enjoyable. I love stopping by now and then!
