Izakaya Raku - Grover Beach

Fresh sushi, super tasty cadjau, nice hot sake at a cold winter night! server lady was very friendly and helpful. the participants in the menu do not.

Tldr: unkind cooking/owner. please put a sign if they don't allow children. we were on the move for hours with a sick child and were thrilled to have some.

The good: the fish in my sushi roll was super fresh and delicate: I have a $16 fish that was quite visually inconspicuous. it had one.

Great food. bad reaction on reservations. No one phones. not reliable hours or holiday periods. long waiting period

First off, the customer service here is wonderful! The hostess who was also our server was very kind and took care of us very well. I am giving four stars because of the ramen. I've had real ramen many different places, the noodles they use are low quality ramen noodles or perhaps they were old? The broth was very good though and the sushi was good as well.
