Pizzazzolina - GROTTAZZOLINA

We arrived late to Grottazzolina and did not really know where we could eat. Got a tip about pizzazzolina and went there. very good pizzas that we can really recommend!

In the heart of Grottazzolina, a quaint village in Le Marche, you'll find Pizzazzolina. This restaurant is great. The staff are always friendly (Mum, Dad, sister and brother and you are made to feel very welcome. The food is home made and delicious. It is affordable and perfect for families and big groups. I have eaten there many times over the last 13 years and never once can I say that I've eaten something substandard. A tip: it is necessary to make a reservation for a Fri, Sat and Sun evening, otherwise you risk not being able to get in. It's a very popular restaurant for the locals which is in fact the best place to eat at, isn't it. If the locals are happy to eat there, anyone would be happy : Highly recommend.

This is a family run restaurant and the pizza here is excellent, cooked by Marco (the son) in a wood-burning oven. There are two parts to the restaurant and we usually sit in the area where the oven is located. There's been a recent physical refurbishment which has helped with the overall look of the place as well as some menu changes which are welcome. Whenever we go we see familiar faces who obviously eat there often which tells you that this is a good, reliable restaurant. We recommend this pizzeria often and without hesitation.
