Pizzeria Degli Artisti - FERMO

My friends and I stayed in Fermo for a week and kept coming back to this restaurant! We had so much fun with the owner and the waiters who made us feel at home at their place. When we ordered Aperol Spritz, they explained that that's not common in Italian restaurants, and then were kind enough to run across the street to a bar to get us our drinks anyway. We liked the food, and especially loved the delicious antipasti and the desserts! If you have to wait a while for your food, just order some more wine and get into the atmosphere :

We had a great lunch here, the best in the region. There's no menu but the owner makes a lot of suggestions in good English which make choosing between several very tasty dishes pretty hard. We had the fresh gnocchi with ragu, which I would happily eat again every day for the rest of my holiday. The Vitello Tonnato was delicious as wel. We were surrounded by locals and noticed how hard the staff works, this is a place for real and good food, and for €55 for two adults and two children there is really no reason not to go!

Pretty, small restaurant, nearly some kind of family atmosphere. The food is very good, I can recommend the big pizzas on family plates but also the meat tagliata was delicious. The waiters were very friendly and with a lot of humour. Also we were sitting in some kind of indoor garden which had a very nice atmosphere (but probably only opened during summer). We as tourists were first a bit sceptical since there was no price list, but it turned out to be very economical. One of the best and most cosy restaurants I ever was in Italy so far. Especially recommendable if you want to eat with a group of people.

Quattro stelle di incoraggiamento, nuova gestione con menù di pesce. Buona cucina, ma servizio ancora da carburare. Gentilissimo il personale, abbiamo avvisato della presenza di un commensale vegano e ci hanno proposto un ottima alternativa ai piatti del menù. Carta dei vini non scontata.

Location davvero carina, servizio perfetto (ogni volta che finivamo il pane o acqua subito ci veniva riportata, una cosa che non si vede dappertutto). A portare i primi hanno impiegato un pochino di tempo ma l’attesa è stata ripagata dai sapori dei piatti, per non parlare dei dolci spettacolari
