Taqueria El Jalapeño - Greshamville

The restaurant closes at 10pm. We were still eating at 9:50. They started mopping the floor with NAUSEATING cleaner and were banging around chairs while we were still eating. Food was ok but nothing special. We won’t be coming back.

Today 5/26/24 I went to work with my daughter and my wife. 3 people ordered my food. Everything is fine with the rocking chair. I only take the food and I never come back when I'm ready to pay. It turns out that they overcharged me for a taco and added things that I hadn't ordered. which was a tongue taco in the world for $5.99 They told me that the tacos were worth that, the tips were included. Service was prompt and polite, and the food was great. The menu features Tex Mex and regional cuisine, with a focus on complex seafood offerings. I think this is the kind of restaurant one underestimates at first glance... The menu may look a little less than luxe, but the kitchen delivers! I'll definitely be back.

My favorite mexican place in Madison. Everything I've had here has been great and authentic. If only I lived a bit closer.
