BeaverTails - Grand Bend

We were very surprised to find Beaver tails in Grand Bend. They were made fresh and were delicious. Even in these crazy Covid times we felt safe.

Just after Labour day we managed to get down and grab some tails. Fewer people around but still a tasty treat!

I buy a cinnamon and sugar beaver tail, every time I visit Grand Bend or Ottawa. If you have never had one, add it to your bucket list.

We were going to the afternoon theatre production in Grand Bend with our year old great granddaughter so we thought we'd call our stop at Beavertails as lunch. We have eaten Beavertails many times before but not for a few years. There are many...choices. I like the plainest one with the cinnamon and sugar and a squeeze of lemon. My husband likes nutella. We decided to just buy two and see how our g. granddaughter liked a piece of it. Well, we ended up having to buy the third one. She really enjoyed it. Afterwards we each had gelato and that was really good too. Just writing up this review makes me want to get back there before Thanksgiving when they close up for the winter.

Stopped by for a sweet dessert, the kids and adults enjoyed the mini donuts and ice cream combined. It was heavenly.
