Koka - Gothenburg

Experienced and lovely front of house, food is modern take on local Swedish ingredients. Wine pairings were excellent with every dish. Popular place in Gothenburg and worth a visit when there for a fine dining experience.

We were looking forward dining at Koka as we heard about the fine cuisine and stopped therefore in Göteborg. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to bring the dog with us (which is usually never a problem in fine dining restaurants where we live at). Amended after reply: we did contact the restaurant of course beforehand. As we could neither find something on the website nor via web search we decided to leave a comment here for other dog owners' information.

When looking for total commitment and focus on food and wine, this was a wonderful experience. Beautiful and interesting small courses and the choice of wine to accompany the food was excellent. I was inspired. And happy. Service and hospitality were great. Thank you.

The best service I have encountered. Kind staff which knows all about wine and food pairing. Felt like a celebrity with different chefs bringing food. Worth the money like no other place. A unique experience for amazing fine dining, and unexpected mix of tastes. Michelin star for a reason!

Exquisit dishes, with an incredible vegetarian menu, so that one doesn't get the feeling of missing out compared to the non vegetarian menu! Very good service, I recommend!
