Ikura Japanese - Gonzales

We went to a birthday dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The waiting staff was the most attentive and polite I've ever seen. The birthday party was the best we ever experienced in a restaurant. We have our new birthday place now. We will definitely come back.

Awesome!!! Food and service was GREAT!! Ask for Kevin he was very attentive and helpful. Also, it was very kid friendly. They have hibachi, sushi, or teryaki options for kids for only $8! My son and I could have shared his kids plate :

Very Surprised. Went in a little apprehensive because of the location, which happens to be a revamped Pizza Hut building. Once inside, you realize the amount of work that's gone into cleaning it up and making it quite nice. The service was fantastic, friendly and fast. Tried three different rolls (lobster special, ikura, and rock n roll), all were really delightful and fresh. My favorite was the ikura roll, something about the texture and flavor had me hooked. We will most certainly be back soon! Please give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Delicious!. I was initially hesitant to visit Ikura because I remembered Pizza Hut being there but I'll definitely go back! Their sushi was delicious (we got the shrimp tempura roll, the eel roll, and the ikura roll), the tuna don was delicious, and so was the gyoza. The price point was extremely reasonable, and two of us stuffed ourselves silly on $40, with leftovers to spare! The ambience is actually quite nice as well, with extremely friendly and helpful staff and waiters, and all in all, we will visit again!

This is easily the best restaurant I have been to around this area. Far greater than hello Tokyo. The staff is extremely friendly. At least go by and try it out, it's a small place. Pretty easy to pass up. But if you do you'll be missing out
