It’s always hard to give bad reviews but I’m sorry, this is a waste of time and money. We’re guests at the hotel so we wanted to try Angel Oak for dinner one night. The staff is super nice but everything, everything, is super slow. Drinks took 40 minutes to get to us and by then my husband’s coke was super watered down from the ice. Oysters and bread were delicious, but the oysters were small compared to other places. Our entrées showed up an hour and a half later and, when they did, my entrée was wrong (ordered the filet and got served the rib eye). It was another 30 minutes ‘till my filet got to the table and by then we had started on the “sides” or they would’ve been cold. Of course these weren’t “sides” anymore because there was nothing to go on the side of.. We were offered the dessert menu and said we’d take a look but after waiting for it for another 20 minutes decided to just get the check instead. We payed $400 for a less-than-stelar experience for two people, it was most definitely not what we were expecting from this restaurant. The views is gorgeous but you can get that for free somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be back.

Angel Oak is one of the best restaurants you can dine in in Santa Barbara. With great food and ocean views this is definitely a spot you want to try. The restaurant is on the grounds of the Ritz-Carlton and this place is beautiful. Right on the coast of Santa Barbara you get great ocean and mountain views. The service and the food are amazing. Our hostess, a young woman named Kat, was amazingly friendly and nice. And our server Jen was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing and the drinks were really good. Parking: Only valet
