Oelstugan Tullen - Goeteborg

Located on Andra Långgatan in Gothenburg, this restaurant is a cozy and casual spot to grab some drinks. While it may not be upscale, the focus here is on providing affordable options like beer and inexpensive wine. What you see is what you get at this laid-back establishment.

The owner, possibly named Kostas, is incredibly rude and unpleasant. I witnessed him kicking out an elderly customer using a walking aid. It was shocking. If you are looking for a fun time, I would not recommend this restaurant as the owner is just awful. On a positive note, the Tullen company operates many other bars in Göteborg that offer cheap food and beer, staying true to their values. Unfortunately, this particular franchise is let down by the behavior of the owner. I suggest trying any other Tullen location, as the majority of them have friendly staff and provide a great experience. It may sound harsh, but I feel it is important to warn others about the disappointing behavior exhibited by this owner. He is uninspiring and lacks basic human decency.

Came here on a solo trip for dinner and a few drinks. Fantastic range of beers (all Swedish), and barman provided plenty of tasters and recommendations. Food is excellent and very good value (100SEK/£8.50 main courses). Cheapest lager is 42SEK, so just over £4. Cheaper than you’d pay in London! Really cosy, relaxed atmosphere too. Well worth a visit.

Super popular pub we were looking to eat in but it was so busy we just had a beer. Nice atmosphere but if your looking to eat don’t just rock up there..
