Bidrage med feedbackWe have been eating at Emilies since the year they opened. Their sourdough bread is incredible (call and reserve a loaf if you can't get there before noon! and all their baked goods are delicious (Emilie trained as a pastry chef in Paris I believe . Pizzas are great (reserve your slot in advance for takeout . We had dinner and lunch there before the pandemic and it was delicious, we have carried out precooked meals when they pivoted to a gourmet shop during the pandemic. Have not eaten in since they reopened but we still go regularly for bread, pizza and precooked meals, all delicious!
First timers here and to Killorglin. One of the few places open on a day when Kerry was playing in the All ireland final. We ordered the following between us: Cappuccino €3.50 Americano €3.20 Raspberry and white choc muffin €2.50 Sausage roll with tomato relish €5 Apple juice €3.25 The coffees were very good as was the muffin. The sausage roll was delicious and melt in the mouth albeit exorbitantly priced. My husband said it was the best sausage roll he has ever had. I checked the receipt after we sat down and noticed we were charged €3 for the muffin despite it being advertised as €2.50. I approached the girl at the till and asked was there a different price for the muffin for sitting down and eating it there as opposed to takeaway and was informed no so I pointed out the price I was charged vs the price advertised and was told the prices went up last week. I said then you need to change the price that is advertised. I was refunded the difference. Afterwards, the girls changed the price on the muffins while we were there. The menu will have to be updated also.
I live locally to the area but haven’t been to Emilie’s for a year and the food has changed. Previously I use to enjoy the pizza but this time the base was so thin that it is see through and tears and the garlic bread was not cooked and was still like dough inside. Such a shame if the pizza and garlic bread was done well it would be gold mine
Excellent service, food and coffee. Very welcome pit stop after a walk . The mushroom soup was gorgeous as were the sausage rolls and toastie
We enjoyed a quick lunch here in Glenbeigh while touring the Ring of Kerry. Simple toasties and good coffee hit the spot and were very tasty. Nice selection of deli goods and knickknacks to browse too.
