Bidrage med feedbackThe shrimp po boy was phenomenal! The shrimp were light crisp and seasoned perfectly. I went with the recommendation for Cajun mayo and it was sooo very good together. Ate the boiled potatoes instead of fries and they fantastic. Then we finished with fresh and hot beniets that are still making my mouth water. The owners were very helpful and friendly. This is my go to joint whenever I go to Marley station ever again.
We eat there a lot! Our usual meal is the 'Bayou Special ' (big juicy burger with fried pickles and cajun mayo) and the Shrimp and Grits (try them and you 'll see).
Food is real good. Something different for the mall
El Pueblito is owned by the same people that own Mi Pueblo in the center of Glen Burnie, the best Mexican restaurant in the area by far. This is their quick service Mexican restaurant, like Chipotle, Moe's, Qdoba, etc. It's food is simply better than the quick service chains. But keep in mind that this is no Mi Pueblo, same recipes for the few similar things they serve, but it is a clone of its national brands. It's burritos, tacos, bowls and quesadillas. The food is sitting out for you to point and order. So other than the quesadillas, its not freshly cooked. But you do get the great flavors and tastes of Mi Pueblo in a less crowded and less expensive, but faster setting. On the down side, you get all the negatives of Chipotle (without the food poisoning) and Qdoba, Moe's, etc. Food that has been sitting out, not super fresh. So, is California Tortilla and Baja Fresh better, absolutely, but they make the food fresh when you order it. And, they aren't here, they are 20 and 30 minutes away. Even Chipotle, Qdoba and Moe's are far away. If you want quick Mexican anywhere in or near Marley Station, Mi Pueblito is the place to go. But if you want Mi PUeblo, go to Mi Pueblo, as this isn't it, but the decour is the same!
