Ramenya - Glen Burnie

I was feeling unwell and unable to taste much food before coming to this restaurant. However, when I tried the ramen, it was incredibly flavorful and I could still taste it despite being sick. The restaurant was busy right after opening, but I enjoyed the affordable prices.

Excellent ramen. A surprise to find in Glen Burnie! The miso ramen was great! Tonkatsu was also very good and perfect for sweater weather

I went to Ramen Ya for lunch and have tried various ramen places in the area, but Ramen Ya is hands down the best in town.

Quaint and nice place. With friendly staff. Ramen was good. Wish I could purchase and take soju home.

I visited Ramen Ya on a cold evening specifically for a bowl of ramen. The restaurant is located behind the Sunoco gas station, across from the Giant grocery store. The building used to be a Pizza Hut in the past. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly man who seated us at our table. We had a view of a young lady making fresh ramen noodles through an open glass window. It was fascinating to watch her feed the dry pasta into a machine, which produced a continuous sheet of noodle pasta. We ordered the tonkatsu bowl, with mine being spicy with chili oil and flakes, as well as pork buns and gyoza. The buns were soft and fluffy with a delicious pork filling and a touch of kewpie mayo. The gyoza was fried perfectly on one side and very tasty. Our ramen bowls arrived hot and steaming, filled with thin noodles, green onions, bean sprouts, half an egg, and sliced pork in a flavorful pork broth. Mine had a layer of chili oil and flakes on top. The broth was tasty but not heavy, which I appreciated. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a nice chew, the pork was tender, and the egg, although soft-boiled, was enjoyable once soaked in the broth. The bean sprouts and green onions added a fresh crunch to the dish. Overall, the ramen bowls were delicious and I will definitely return to this restaurant!
