Rainbow Sushi - Germantown

We eat here frequently always friendly, clean, efficient, delicious. Great neighborhood place without being funky (not a hole in the wall). Seating is comfortable wait staff is attentive. We like sitting at the 'sushi bar ' to watch the food prepared.

My wife is a sushi fanatic. We've been pretty much tried sushi everywhere in the D.C. metro area. We like Rainbow Sushi because of their low prices, great tasting sushi, and friendly staff. We go at least once a week. The ambience is nothing to write home about. Also, they try to add variety to their menu by adding Thai and fried rice dishes. Personally, I'd stay away as they are pretty greasy and salty. If you want great sushi at a low price this is it.

I eat here often. If you are looking for affordable, amazing sushi, this is the place. The service isn't formal; they basically just give you your food and leave you alone. I personally enjoy that. It is very quiet and very clean. The sushi is very, very good. I've tried sushi at other places, but I have given up because they are more expensive to Rainbow sushi and do not taste as good. I definitely recommend this place. If anyone has had an issue with this restaurant, I am sure it was a singular incident because out of the countless times that I have been there, everything has been great.

Low-key, relaxed diner type atmosphere but with a 5 Star elegance for food quality, service and overall satisfaction! Extremely friendly and fast service. Sushi and roll orders take less time than kitchen-cooked items, but that 's expected. Wasabi shumai and tempura are wonderful. The sushi pizza is just one of many inventive delights. This place makes things truly to order and can accommodate special tastes. The hand-made Japanese noodle combos are incredible. Compared to any other place I have been, portions and quality are unbelievable for price! This is a not to be missed place. And they have free local home delivery too. This is a regular hangout for me and my friends and co-workers. Get there. And you 'll love the amazingly friendly staff too!!!!! :

This is a really nice little place. The atmosphere is usually pretty quiet and the place is clean. The staff is friendly and prompt. The rolls come quickly although other items may take a little time, but no longer than 20 minutes. The food has always been fresh and well-prepared. The prices really can't be beat, especially for lunch. My personal favorite is the 2 maki (small roll) for $5. I'll definitely keep coming back while I live in the area (and may even make the trip if I move).
