Have always loved The Pit. The food is great and the place is a nice little spot. All the staff are great.

I just didn't taste good food with quality,I had to find another place. The banana pudding is by far the worst I've ever had. The portion sizes for the sides were laughable. The price for this food was a slap in the face. I would rather drive the distance for BBQ with quality.

This was my first visit to The Pit, and I was immediately greeted by a strong, delightful aroma of BBQ as soon as we walked in. We decided to try the brisket sandwich and the two-meat plate, which included brisket and ribs, along with sides of beans, mac and cheese, and potato salad. The food was incredibly tasty and packed with flavor. The brisket had a wonderful smoky taste, and the ribs were juicy and tender, practically falling off the bone. The mac and cheese had the perfect consistency and tasted fantastic. The potato salad was decent, but the beans weren’t my favorite. We also enjoyed a glass of sweet tea, which was just right. The service was good, and we definitely plan to return. It’s such a shame they’re closed on Sundays because we would have come back today! I didn’t take any pictures this time because we couldn't stop eating!

I visited The Pit for the first time and unfortunately, I was disappointed. The chopped brisket sandwich had a texture similar to ground hamburger or chili meat, and I didn’t enjoy the flavor at all. While the potato salad and sausage were tasty, I can’t overlook the brisket sandwich. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
