Bidrage med feedbackThis place doesn't look like much, your average provincial takeaway specialising in kebabs and deep fried stuff... looks can be deceptive, it is run by a really lovely guy who has a background in Indian restaurants. They recently branched out into offering curry too and we gave it a go as it's our closest place. We were expecting it to be pretty average to be honest but we were so surprised. It is now our go to place for curry. Their Lamb with spinach is excellent, slow cooked and full of flavour. I also love the chicken tikka Peshawari which is very spicy but amazing. Their onion Bahjis are also worth a mention, they are crispy and cooked all the way through. (so often they are horribly raw in the middle from other places) Well worth trying out. Give them a go and don't be put off by the fact that it just looks like a takeaway. It is lovely food and clearly the guy who runs it has a passion for it. He is wasted on fish and chips.
I have been to this restaurant twice and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was both times. A little more effort could have easily earned them a 5-star rating.
I have purchased food from this restaurant a few times in the past. It used to be good, but now the chips are consistently terrible. I end up feeding them to the pigeons.
I recently had the best kebab I've had in a long time at this restaurant! The house kebab was absolutely amazing, with a delicious and generous portion. The chips were cooked perfectly and the garlic sauce was excellent. I will definitely be ordering from here more often in the future. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I wish I had taken photos, but I was too hungry and couldn't wait to dig in!
I have ordered from this restaurant many times, but recently their customer service has declined. They promised me a refund, but I am still waiting for it. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
