Osteria Maria - Front Royal

Starting with the focaccia, it wasn't dry or bland as I’ve experienced elsewhere; instead, it was soft and moist, bursting with the true flavor of flour. Simple yet authentically delicious. We also enjoyed the mussels pasta and bolognese, both made with their handmade pasta. Each dish was packed with excellent flavors that highlighted the quality of the ingredients. The margherita pizza was exceptionally flavorful as well, reminiscent of the ones I had in Naples. I was truly impressed by the quality, especially coming from such a small town. The service was extremely slow and quite disorganized. Although we were offered bread, it never arrived. We waited a long time before our orders were taken, and the food itself was just average. For our dinner, the price per person was between $10 and $20. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 2.

We celebrated August birthdays of three people in our group of nine last Friday evening. I cannot say enough about how positive our experience was. All food, from appetizers to bread to our main entrees, was delightfully good. But what made the evening special was the attentiveness of the staff and servers.
