Cindy's Lobster Rolls - Freeport

We Loved the New England clam chowder..the clams were so tender..the flavor Amazing!! I had the classic lobster roll and my husband had the warm with butter lobster roll.and sweet potato tots..everything was DELICIOUS!!! We will b back next year when back up in Maine!!

Lobster roll is good with Thai chili sauce. The crab cake is okay. Staff is friendly so I tip her to show my appreciation.

You might expect that a restaurant with "lobster rolls" in its name would serve delicious lobster rolls. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. The meat and the roll were both devoid of flavor, and the lobster was so cold that my melted butter congealed immediately after I poured it on. The reason I rated it three stars is due to the crab corn chowder, which had a good flavor, although it was more like a soup than a chowder in terms of consistency. While we always aim to support small businesses, we won’t be coming back.

However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind: the prices are a bit on the higher side, and there's only outdoor seating available (I suggest dining in your car for comfort). The restaurant is located near the highway, so be prepared for some noise from passing vehicles. Additionally, the parking area is quite tight and consists of gravel, not pavement. Despite these minor drawbacks, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic food and friendly staff! The fresh local seafood is absolutely delicious—truly unbeatable!
