Eileen's Bakery Cafe - Fredericksburg

I rarely give one-star ratings, but Eileen's was a big disappointment. The interior of the renovated church felt unfinished, the food service was disorganized, and the Cubano and Rachel dishes were soggy messes with a plastic taste. I'm surprised this place made it onto a "25 Best" list. The only positive aspect was the exterior decor, hence the one star.

Eileen's offers a diverse array of pastries to suit everyone's taste preferences. During a recent family gathering, I prepared a breakfast casserole and included a bowl of fruit and pastries for everyone to enjoy. The pastries were generously sized, allowing everyone to sample multiple options. It was a fantastic way to try a variety of pastries and was a resounding success. Plus, they all tasted delicious!

We had an incredible experience with Eileen's bakery! We are from out of town and I wanted to surprise my mom with a birthday cake. I randomly chose Eileen's online and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decoration on top. My mom absolutely loved it! We ordered an 8-inch orange cream cake with apricot jam filling, and it was delicious. The cake was not only great in taste but also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Wow, great space for breakfast or lunch with a big assortment of baked goods. We had bear claws and pull apart apple cakes along with robust coffee. Each sitting area has acrylic shields for covid protection. Friendly cheerful staff! This was a church and all the character is left untouched. Just a few blocks from main street and street parking free and plentiful.

Eileen made my daughter?s two tier chocolate birthday cake- which was delicious, moist just beautiful- as well with her cupcakes cookies. She?s extremely helpful, honest, friendly, flexible super creative! I highly recommend Eileen we?ll be going to her for our future cake desert needs!
