Bidrage med feedbackVISIT: end of February 2020 I LOVE MATCHA! We happened to walk by this place several times and thank goodness! This is TRUE matcha, so it's definitely more bitter than Americans are probably used to lol My husband got the Shiratama parfait and did not love that. The stuff that was in the parfait reminded me of Filipino Halo-Halo but some items were gummier than he would like. I ordered the Matcha Float and it was as magical as you would think. It was like a matcha latte with matcha flavored ice cream on top. They had other phenomenal looking desserts that I wish we could go back and try! The staff was extremely helpful at explaining what everything was and patient while we decided. What a CUTE little place, I hope they get to reopen
Very nice matcha themed cafe. Great atmosphere. A 'not-so-busy ' place to go if just want to find slightly quiet cafe to go.
If you love green tea, matcha or houjicha, this is the place for you! So wonderful that they opened in Queenstown. Had the lovely shiratama parfait and it was delicious! The lady staff member behind the counter was very friendly and glady explained whatever questions we had about what was in each of the parfait desserts so we could make a choice we liked best! The seats are a little uncomfortable, but overall the setting is beautiful. Love the teapots in the back and the wall explaining tea harvesting. Big props to having Studio Gibhli piano music in the background!
If you love matchas then would recommend to go to this place for some snacks or dessert! They have varieties of matcha dessert and every single one of them are delicious. The atmosphere and place are aesthetic and nice to just sit and relax.
Great atmosphere, friendly nice staff with great Japanese style customer service, you will notice how they serve you with the tray putting in the exact correct position. Dessert definitely match their service.
