Landry's Hot Tamales - Franklin

I ordered lunch today, December 29th. The tamales were just okay, but the ham and cheese po'boy was terrible. The bread was so hard it could have broken a window, and the ham looked like leftover Christmas ham—definitely not the quality usually served there. We won’t be returning; my boyfriend was really appalled, especially considering how much we paid for such disappointing food.

First time through town..had to stop after reading the reviews. Had to try the roast beef Po 'boy. Great! Had to get a half dozen tamales. Never had anything like 'em. You can eat 6 of 'me easy enough. Nice and juicy, bited sized. Don 't let half a dozen scare you away. Quick lunch spot! Comin ' back!!

Been going for years. Hamburgers are awesome, had the roastbeef poboy for the first time and I'm in love.

From the owner on down the line, the staff are all sweet and friendly. Their orders are consistently timed and they have been in business for at least 35 years. Not currently open for dine-in but that doesn't hold them down. Expect a line at the drive thru, which is a sign that they succeed in fulfilling satisfying their guests appetites. Try the Tamales, after all that's how they got started.
