Dixie Cafe - Franklin

The service at this restaurant has not always been the best but we ordered 4 dinners from them today and one of the orders was wrong. My daughter knows what she ordered but the manager said I read the order back. At first she didn't seem willing to replace but did so with an attitude that she's always right. Offered to excahnge the meal so we had to drive back up. This manager has absolutely no idea about customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere or do without . As a message to the owner The manager needs a new job. My daughter went to get replacement and they still messed it up. My daughter could hear them yelling at each other in the back. Apparently their jobs to hard and they should be relieved of it.

Do not let the outside fool you. It looks plain Jane but on the inside is nicely decorated and very modern. It is a good change from the normal food in this area which is mostly fried. Now don't get me wrong they have all the fried foods but they also have blackened chicken and several different vegetable items they were very good. Service was very good also.

I honestly don't think this place is all that great food wise! The atmosphere and service is great! The price you pay for pre-made/frozen food isn't worth it. The food isn't horrible but it isn't great. We still eat here but not often.

Wow, lots of tornado damage in this town but the cafe is open for lunch. Not to be confused with Johnny Rebs Dixie Cafe in Hearne: yelp.com/biz/johnny-rebs… This is the latest incarnation of an ever changing restaurant on main street here in Franklin. Mighty fine Texan food as always. Burger is great, Chicken fried Chicken is awesome. Perfection actually. Friendly staff.

Very clean restaurant. Great service! Sometimes you have to wait a little longer if their busy due to baseball teams/ basketball teams! Most of the time your food comes out very quickly! They DO serve coffee the menu says they don't serve breakfast. So if your looking for a good homemade chicken fried steak or chicken this is your place!
