Here's my long-overdue review for my favorite go-to spot for takeout and dine-in: a local, fast, and friendly Asian restaurant for lunch and dinner located at Shea and E. 148th, near Eagle Mountain Parkway. Every meal I've tried has been fresh and delicious. Their lunch specials are just $13 and include an egg roll, plus I love adding their fantastic salad. The owner, Chen, is always accommodating when it comes to special requests and options, especially since I’m Celiac and gluten-free. The ambiance is welcoming and clean, with great attention to detail.

We ordered honey walnut shrimp, pot stickers, and Mongolian beef, but unfortunately, everything was bland and almost inedible. After finishing our meal, we settled the bill and chose to leave for another local restaurant. The shrimp had soggy breading and lacked the expected crispiness. The pot stickers were tough, and the beef was overcooked. Although the fried wonton noodles and the complimentary candy served before the meal didn't redeem the food quality, the service was attentive. It's worth mentioning that there was only one other group in the restaurant during our visit. We were surprised by the positive reviews we had read, given our experience. I won’t be coming back, as I don't think this was just an off night.

Avoid this place! I visited on a Saturday night at 6 PM and the hostess informed me that they weren't taking any orders because the kitchen was overwhelmed. There were only five tables occupied.
