Pizza Grand - Forney

I really enjoyed it!! Was nice and crispy and hot! Perfect size and all the toppings I wanted. You walk into the smell of handmade authentic pizza! I didn't much care for the salad; lettuce and one wedge of tomato with a sprinkle of mozzarella, drowning in dressing, but I didn't go for the salad. Love the food. The place is run down and could use a good scrub down and new decor. The door was propped open and let in a few bees. It appears to be run by two older gentlemen, that are very nice and friendly. Reminds me of a pizza place I loved going to in highschool in Richardson, Pizza Villa.

Great pizza, even better customer service. The owner is a super cool guy, treated me like family, even though it was my first time in the store. Will be back soon.

It is a very cozy little place that is guided by an older gentleman. While it's a small place, the pizza bag comes out. I won't lie, I'm very picky with my food and almost snobby with the reviews, so when I saw that in the area I work, I decided at some point I would check it. The order is simple, and as soon as I did, he came back to the kitchen and asked me to have a place. About 10-15 minutes he prepared my pizza, put in the box, cut and sealed. He told me I was back! I'm a creditor! I get to help small businesses and eat this delicious pizza that I basically ate until it was cold, and even cold it tastes fantastic?? Give him a shot! This is surely the best pizza in Forney!

Grand Pizza was pretty good. I'd say one of the best in the area. The owner is a super nice guy, very relaxed, good conversation. You can definitely taste that his pizza is different from the rest. They will either like it or not. He also makes his own dough. The crust is slightly thinner than the Avg. I would definitely try and see if it's for style.

Pizza Grand surprised us. It 's different. The flavors are subtle, the ingredients fresh, the crust thin, and the sauce has just the right balance so as not to overpower the overall experience. The owner is a super easy going guy. There 's no app or website, you just call ahead and order. I was kind of surprised when he said Ok, we 'll see you in 20 minutes, brother! It was so different and refreshing to my ears. And that was ordering at peak dinner time! The last couple of times I ordered pizza from a chain and it was an hour wait (not fun to wait that long for dinner from a chain). Sometimes it 's just better to support locals. I think we 've found our new pizza place. In case you 're wondering we ordered a medium pepperoni and a medium grand special. We are going to have to try the other pies on the menu. Highly recommended and certainly left us very satisfied!
