Latham Bakery - Forney

I was thrilled with how my daughter's birthday cake turned out—it was even more beautiful than I had imagined! I found some little decorations online, and the staff did a fantastic job enhancing the rest of the cake. You can tell that whoever worked on it put a lot of love and care into their effort. I couldn't be happier, and Ellie was absolutely delighted! Thank you so much!

Latham Bakery truly surpassed our expectations in making our corporate meeting a success. Not only did they provide outstanding service, but they also supplied all the utensils we needed. The party trays we ordered were absolutely delicious—the fruit was fresh, the sandwich platters were satisfying, and the dessert trays offered a delightful variety of sweetness. Whether for a large event or a smaller gathering, we will definitely continue to rely on Latham Bakery for all our catering needs.

I really liked their tuna salad sandwich. It was fresh without mayo or any kind of sauce added to it.

I don’t often write reviews, but this place is a real gem. The staff is always kind and welcoming. Both the interior and exterior have a wonderful atmosphere that highlights the building's unique character, like the exposed brick and floor tiles. I've mostly tried their sweet pastries, such as danishes, cinnamon rolls, and various loaves, paired with an iced latte. The pastries are light and buttery, simply perfect. Although their flavored lattes aren't made with house-made syrups, it's important to remember this isn't a specialty coffee shop. Still, their espresso is smooth and definitely better than Starbucks. In my opinion, their true focus and specialty lies in their bakery, and they excel in that area. I would rate it a perfect 10/10.

The Forney site is the original but they are expanding to a 4th location soon. I've known that they have great desserts for years but just recently that they have a great selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. The photo is of a half roast beefsandwich and half of a harvest salad. I thought I would like the sandwich better but the salad stole the show. If you want aquick healthy lunch, you owe it to yourself to try the Latham Bakery.
