The Dog And Muffler Inn

This welcoming pub is perfect for both humans and dogs. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the beer selection is impressive. I don't think I need to say much more than that. We would definitely recommend it.

I visited a charming country pub after walking from the campsite at Bracelands. I ordered the jerk and Stilton pie, which was delicious. Although I'm not usually a fan of pastries, I enjoyed it. The wine and beers were also quite good. The pub had a private beer garden with umbrellas, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

We decided to stop by for Sunday lunch with our dog, without a reservation, but the staff was very accommodating and quickly found us a table. The Sunday lunch we had was the best we've had in a while, you could taste how fresh everything was. The dessert was also absolutely delicious. To top it off, they even provided our dog with a bowl of water and a couple of biscuits.

We visited the Dog and Muffler 3 times during a week's stay at a local campsite. We received a recommendation from the workers at the campsite. The manager (we didn't get his name) bent over backwards to accommodate our son's dietary requirements. Nothing was too much. We had an evening meal on our first night and it was all lovely. We returned with more family members (7 of us) for a Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. I had the lamb and I'd recommend it for anyone. Our third visit was just after the kitchen had closed but they still rustled up some of the starters for us. You won't wander past the Dog and Muffler, it takes a bit of finding but it's food, service, cleanliness and decor are a large step above an ordinary pub. Thank you Mike, Saara, Aneiran and Vader
