Bidrage med feedbackFresh bread and delicious pate! My favourite banh mi in Brisbane! next time I would ask for extra chilli!
As a Vietnamese person, I’ve had my fair share of BMT. This place is by far the best for the price. There’s some fancy BMTs in Brisbane which of course cost much more so as expected, price and quality of ingredients would be higher. <br/ <br/ But for a classic pork roll, nowhere in Brisbane does it better than here. I love how they put it in the grill to heat and crisp up after you order. The bread is so crisp on the outside but still soft inside. The butter is AMAZING. I don’t know what is in it, but the BMT would not be 5/5 without it. <br/ <br/ It used to be $4 but I think it’s $4.50 per roll now. Still a great price for such a delicious BMT.
This Brisbane restaurant is one of my favorite places for Banh Mi, and I have been a loyal customer for years. The service is always friendly and the staff greets you with a smile. My go-to choice is the Roast Pork Banh Mi with Pork Crackling, but I also highly recommend the Traditional Banh Mi. The Roast Pork Banh Mi is filled with generous portions of pork, crackling, pickles, coriander, cucumber, minced chilli, and pate all served in a fresh, crunchy baguette. Priced at $6, this Banh Mi is absolutely delicious and offers great value for money. Well done to the ladies running this place!
At first, I had difficulty locating the restaurant. I had to confirm that I was at the correct place because the storefront appeared modest and somewhat questionable. I decided to try the combination and special roll. After my first bite, I was impressed by how delicious it was. In my opinion, the rating of 4.8 is underrated - it truly deserves a perfect score of 5.0, or even higher. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Is this Brisbane’s Best Banh Mi? Potentially yes.<br/ <br/ Prices are very affordable around $5 which is a big tick. Bread was crispy (my gf says “sharp” on the crust but fluffy and soft inside. I got the crispy roast pork which gave some extra crunch, and the other ingredients inside tasted nice and fresh.<br/ <br/ Overall I can’t fault the place really maybe deduct points if I felt harsh because they are “Cash Only” with only private ATM nearby but it’s small monetary purchases (you wouldn’t spend over $20 here for 1/2 people so I’ll let it slide.<br/ <br/ 5/5
