Bidrage med feedbackWe shared a paprikasalat, pasta with mosquitoes and kicherbsen and a tomato meeres pasta all dishes were delicious. they also serve 0.5l wein for 4 euro, which is incredible value for money! would recommend
We were brought to lunch in our Italian family. we were about 25 people. beautiful restaurant on the beach. we had all kinds of seafood, and each dish was better than the previous dish, seafood pasta in white and red sauce, garnel. and calamari spits, various species of fish all very fresh and tasty. the wein flew further and it was good. must try.
The menu shows only a few plates, by their qualities is excellent. tagliatelle alla chitarra (with seafood and tomato) was incredibly delicious. fritto misto was good and plentiful. with professional and efficient service. in any case it is worth returning.
We were recommended to go to this restaurant for fresh seafood. it turned out that the sorted fish plate was completely frozen. watered, fishy, tasteless fish that were thrown into the deep friier and served. the personal was friendly enough, the place is so. but if I wait in a fish restaurant on the beach near a large fishing harbour I expect fresh fish, not captain igloo.
Most restaurants in Europe close after lunch and reopen around 6 but La Barchetta is open all day all night. In the morning its an Italian bar meaning you have coffee juice pastry then around 12:30 the kitchen opens, tablecloths silverware wine water glasses. Always...loads of reservations. You don't have one but if you want to eat outside it may be a good idea. Kitchen closes around 2:30 ish. Turns into a bar again serving slice pizza coffee juice wine beer... Kitchen opens again for supper same idea as lunch. My favorite dish is spaghetti alla vongolare. My friend Loves the Frito frutta di mare. The fish is great fresh large portions and even the chicken cutlet. When you go please tell them Oriana from canada will be back!!
