Everything was wonderful even down to being welcome this was my first time going there was a wonderful experience I wish I had cocoa bread tho. I typically don't write food reviews, but this meal was outstanding. I tried the oxtail with cauliflower and rice and it was delicious! The meat was so tender it fell off the bone. The portion was generous, allowing me to save some for the next day, and it tasted just as good. I will definitely return. The owner was lovely and provided a fantastic first-time experience. Don't hesitate to visit, you won't be disappointed.

It's important to note that this is not your typical "meat and three" restaurant. The cauliflower dish was a pleasant surprise, with more than just cauliflower and cooked to perfection. The string beans were spicy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was not your average version but deliciously unique, and the rice and peas had a great taste. Amazing chicken! You must try the chicken, it is cooked slowly and smoked to perfection. The flavor is so delicious and the meat is always juicy. The restaurant used to be in Platinum, but now it is in Fairfield. They also offer ox tail, brown stew, turkey necks, and more. The portions are huge and you have to use both hands to eat. Don't forget to try the strawberry lemonade juice, it is a must-have. Trust me, it's a whole mood to eat here. Treat yourself to this comforting soul food. You won't regret it.
