Great atmosphere and delicious food. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo, red beans and rice and a side salad. Three Cajun sides for $11.99 . Great food and great prices. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My family and I saw this place online, so we had to try. Let me just say that our experience and food was excellent! Faith was our server and she did a great job. Very pleasant and great personality! I even asked Abi(manager) to come to the table so I could tell him about our first impression. He was very grateful and we enjoyed talking to him. Many times, people are always fast to highlight the bad parts of a company, I am glad that I was able to highlight the good today. We recommend this place to cook authentic Cajun!

I am in town for the week and had a request for seafood. I found this place and thought I would try. I came about 1.5 hours before the proximity and was served quite quickly. I tried the blue crab claws for a starter. it was great. from there I have the selection 2 items combo meal. So I had the grouper, alligator engravings, the koleslawe and the chicken and sausage gum. Ah....excuse me while I say the F word to describe the food. fantastic! I forgot that I ordered the beignets for dessert. as I remember, they were caramel (Caramel-ah-mel) with a dusting of powdered sugar excellent! I would definitely go back. in which I thought to go back today to try the royal red. Oh, before I forget... he really cares about you!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for authentic Louisiana dishes. It was amazing, delicious, and the environment was great.

We had an hour to kill waiting to check in to our hotel when we found this little gem. We were visiting from Missouri. I am from Louisiana so I tend to miss good southern seafood. I was really wanting some flavor while we were down south. This place did not disappoint. My husband was so impressed he wanted to come eat there again before we left. (We didn't But not because he didn't want to! We had enough food left over from our late lunch that we just finished up our left overs in our hotel room. We ordered a pitcher of mango margaritas, a dozen oysters on the half shell, he had the butterflied, stuffed shrimp and I had the blackened red fish. Our check was only $90 before the tip. The server did great considering he was the only one e there and it got a little busy. It was a Saturday afternoon. I wish I could remember the servers name but I'm drawing a blank. He was probably late 20's, early 30's with lots of tattoos. Big shout out! Great job. Thank you! If we ever come back to Birmingham, we WILL be eating here!
